Bring back Moustapha Salifou and Nigel Reo Coker!

Before anyone thinks I am going mad let me explain.  I do not miss Salifou’s cameo appearances in cup matches nor do I miss his contribution to our fading reserve team, and I don’t miss NRC’s lack of shooting ability or his ability to pick up yellow cards.  No what I miss are the chants, is it just me or have the Holte Enders lost all of their great chants?

It seems to me that all we sing these days is the “I don’t care about , they don’t care about me, all I care about is AVFC” zzzzzzzzzz is it over yet?

I don’t know who came up with this chant, or why but it seems like it is the only one being sung.   I know we don’t have a great deal to cheer about at the moment but when we do get one going can we sing anything but this dumb chant that has cropped up this season.

Although the McGrath song is wearing a little thin it still beats “I don’t care…”.  I have a conspiracy theory that the “I don’t care…” chant has been dreamt up by marketing people in an attempt to reduce swearing in the stands, I suspect that there are even people planted in the stands to kick this god awful chant off.

“Sali Salifou! Bullet, Bullet proof!” – much better!
